Gala Coordinator and Gala Committee Applications
Gala Coordinator (2 Positions Available)
Rate of Pay: $1000 total (flat rate)
Work Location: Hybrid
Term: January 2026 to April 2026
Time Commitment: 10-15 hours per month
Role Overview:

Brings their vision to life by overseeing the booking, planning, promotion, tickets sales, decoration, and execution of WCSA's annual Awards Gala
-
Co-chairs the Gala Committee and manages Committee members

Accountable for working within budget constraints

Reports directly to the Board of Directors

Supports the booking, planning, promotion, tickets sales, decoration, and execution of WCSA's annual Awards Gala

Accountable for assigned portfolio/duties

Works under two (2) Gala Coordinators
Terms and Conditions
The ideal candidate has:

A passion for bringing their personal flair to projects and developing a vision for the 2025 WCSA Awards Gala
-
An aptitude for working independently and completing projects on schedule; and
-
A desire to take on a leadership role, to contribute to the Woodsworth community, and to partake in a continued relationship with WCSA beyond the end of their term.

Experience with event planning, project management, or working in a team is an asset

To be considered eligible, an applicant must:

be legally entitled to work in Ontario; (Coordinators only)

be enrolled as a full-time or part-time fee-paying University of Toronto student for the Winter 2026 semester;

be located in Toronto for the Winter 2026 semester and be willing to attend meetings in person; and
-
submit their application through the form above no later than Tuesday, December 30th, Eastern Standard Time—this is the only official method of submission.
